Public Star Party - Oct. 20, 2018

Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, CA USA

Members of the Los Angeles Astronomical Society treated observatory visitors to views of the night sky last night on the lawn in front of the Griffith Observatory. Dave Pinsky and Joe Phipps shared the following photos from the event. Joe was using the club's 26 Inch telescope and took two photos with his cell phone, one a photo of a visitor viewing the moon. Dave captured the full beauty of the moon in his telescope and provided two additional photos highlighting the lunar treasure in the sky.
