On 9-11 June 2017 the VdS-Section SPEKTROSKOPIE will be holding a co-operation
With the Swiss Spectroscopists their annual spectroscopy conference,
This time at the Guesthouse Kloster Bethanien in St. Niklausen in Switzerland.
(www.haus-bethanien.ch) Between Lucerne and the north face of the Eiger we meet
in a spectacular setting and enjoy a great meeting place.
Lucerne on Lake Lucerne is reachable in an hour and invites you with culture and shopping
To a visit. So it is also worthwhile for the astronomically uninterested "annex" to come
to St. Niklausen. We are looking forward to receiving your application for St.Niklausen.

Getting there:


By public transport
From Lucerne take the train to Sarnen. From Sarnen take the Postauto line 343 (Melchtal-Stöckalp)
to St. Niklausen, stop "Alte Post". On foot further over the hiking trail high, 5-10 min.
(Is not suitable for roller luggage). Guests with luggage boxes get off at the stop "Alpenblick"
and take the access road (Zubenstrasse), about 15 minutes on foot.

By car
On the A8 to Sarnen-Nord, continue in the direction of Kerns-Melchtal, turn left at the restaurant
Alpenblick in St. Niklausen, after about 300m turn left following the sign for the Gästehaus Kloster Bethanien.

Please report if there are any problems with the approach.
We will certainly be able to organize a "take-along" of flight and train terminals.
