Saturn is difficult to observe in tonight's sky but you may be able to spot it in the lower horizon just as the sun sets. If not tonight, you will still have a chance to observe it for the next two nights. Binoculars might be useful in catching this beautiful planet disappear into the fading light. Great comment, Jack! You're right! Saturn and Mars are still visible at mid-northern latitudes. Stay up late tonight and see if you can spot Saturn. Mars should still be bright enough to observe, too. Saturn, Mars, and Antares will form a triangle visible on the sky's dome tonight.
