Global Astronomy Month 2012 News - 15 Feb 2012
Program Schedule
The GAM2012 Executive Committee has been busy organizing programs and events for the whole month of April. The rich schedule of GAM2012 programs are designed to inform and inspire amateur astronomers, educators and the public around the world. Popular programs from GAM2011, such as SunDay, Lunar Week, the Global Star Party and remote observations from the Virtual Telescope, will return. Innovative new programs and new partners will also be featured. We'll be highlighting programs on the website and in mailings, and providing updates on programs as they're added to the schedule. |

AWB is partnering with the International Asteroid Search Campaign (IASC) on a new program for GAM2012. Applications are being accepted only until 2 March so don't delay! Fifteen classroms around the world will be chosen for this special program, but others will be available if your classroom doesn't make the cut this time.
