Evento Inter Ponce

Our collaborator in astrophotography and Solar System Ambassador - NASA / JPL Fernando Roquel Torres and professor Erica Correa Félix gave an inspiring talk to young people from the Upward Bound Math and Science program at the Universidad Interamericana precinct of Ponce of Puerto Rico on Saturday, March 18, 2017 From 9:00 am to 11:00 am These young people who are in 9th grade participated in an educational talk about astronomy and astrotography in an easy-to-understand language, at their level and integrating all the technologies that young people of their age use daily.

The educational environment was totally participatory in what our Solar System Ambassador rewarded the young enthusiasts of the astronomy and the sciences with material provided by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of NASA.

We would like to thank Mr. Kevin Negrón Vázquez, MA (Director of the Upward Bound Math and Science Program) for inviting our resources to be motivational and inspirational instruments to our future scientists and productive people of our country.
