GAM News - April 27

As we head into the final week of Global Astronomy Month 2011 we can look back in awe at all the programs that have been created as well as looking forward to the final events in the week to come.  GAM 2010 was a start of much more than any of us realized.  GAM 2011 has exceeded everyone's expectations with many new, innovative programs that will continue throughout the year.

The final week continues in the same vein with the Cosmic Concert, a cosmic musical extravaganza streamed to the world.  Write Your Name in the Sky is the final GAM event (just a few hours outside of the April time frame).  I'll be attending both.  Will you?  See below for more information and link.

Finally, Ask an ESA Scientist - your chance to pose your questions to a lunar scientist on the team that sent a spacecraft to the Moon and Mars -- becomes the first program to be announced as continuing beyond GAM.  But it doesn't go forever so click the link below and send in your question to be answered on the GAM web site.
