Join the GAM - Astronomers Without Borders team
Join the team bringing GAM to the world and share in the excitement. As GAM expands to more places and more programs, we're expanding the effort to share it all with the world. And not only for GAM - a new Astronomers Without Borders web site with strong social networking capabilities will be launched soon to carry on the programs beyond GAM. All the work of Astronomers Without Borders is carried out by volunteers with limited time. If you have time and interest, we can find a place for you to take part. Some of the tasks during GAM and beyond:

Getting news features, blogs and images on the web site. There are many levels of expertise needed in this effort so it's not necessary to be an expert. Some experience with web sites is helpful (the GAM site is created in Joomla). Familiarity with HTML is very helpful.

Are you an experienced Joomla user or web developer? Help is needed maintaing the new web site to come soon built around JomSocial and other dynamic social networking components.

Are you a writer? Or do you have PR experience? The PR Coordinator can always use a hand.

Other tasks don't require any experience at all. If you have time you'd like to offer then we can use your help!

Write to info@gam-awb.org.
